What a glorious day. I am so excited about being an active part of the Blogging community. I would like to begin my first post by posing this question - How much bliss do you experience each day? Ponder that for a moment.
Not very long ago I lived my life, over worked and over stressed most of the time. Even though I created wellness products, gave spa treatments and even facilitated wellness workshops, I was on "the edge" most of the time. Thinking back, the only times I experienced bliss were... giving clients facials in my soul soothing treatment room, relaxing in my husband's arms (just being around him is blissful, well most of the time), working out at the park and being at my church. Of course there were many other things that brought me bliss, I just rarely got to do them. I guess I have a bit of a type A personality, which seems to be common place with many business owners and "get-er-done" folk.
I can truly say, I now understand how, too much "get-er-done" without enough "get-her-fun" can "get-her-dead" LOL! You see, it all caught up with me 2 years ago when I ended up so ill, this women of optimism and faith had doubts about her own recovery. It took lots of spiritual and physical work to turn things around. However, if I hadn't learn the art of feeling good, I mean feeling good even when things aren't good, I would not be healed today.
I am greatful for all that I've learned the past two years as I was claiming my health. I say claim rather than reclaim because I had never really claimed my health, even though it was bought and paid for over 2000 years ago. And it's the same thing with bliss. It belongs to us. All we have to do is claim it!
